Contracting Officer Technical Representative

Duties

· Serves as the U.S Government Project Lead for contracts.

  • Plans, develops and establishes the contractual strategy for the overall acquisition program for the organization.
  • Prepares and maintains acquisition plans, appropriate milestone charts and related schedules.
  • Assists in development of solicitation packages and conducts reviews of contract requirements, deliverables and contract changes.
  • Responsible for the full range of acquisition planning and contract management functions required to support various contractual needs from pre-award to post-award functions
  • Serve as advisor to upper-level management in procurement planning meetings.
  • Plans and develops guidance material for technical, program management and acquisition personnel.

· Appointment may be subject to suitability and a complete background investigation.

· This position requires the candidate be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret clearance or access for the duration of employment.

· A background investigation and credit check are required.

· This position requires you to travel from the duty station, up to 5% travel away from duty station required.

Qualifications

Who May Apply: Only applicants who meet one of the employment authority categories below are eligible to apply for this job. Education: you must possess either a bachelor’s degree OR have completed at least 24 semester hours of coursework in certain business-related fields. Preferred graduate of the Army Acquisition Transition Course but not required.

You will be evaluated based on your level of competency in the following areas:

  • Oral Communication
  • Planning and Evaluating

Additional information

You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.

One year trial/probationary period may be required.

Direct deposit of pay is required.

This is a Program Manager Career Field position.

Salary includes applicable locality pay or Local Market Supplement.

Pay is starting at 87,000
